Unpaid Overtime Continues Upward Trend

The amount of unpaid overtime being done by Irish workers looks to be on the increase.

A survey by Peninsula Ireland has revealed that 67% of workers say they occasionally spend time working evenings and weekends without pay to cope with their workload.

It’s also showed that employees are using mobile devices to keep up to date with work while they are technically ‘off’.

43% of these workers feel their bosses do not acknowledge the overtime that they have done.
