Our weekly review is out in audio. Video will be released tomorrow.
This week’s guest is iPhone app developer Donie Kelly, author of the point-8 iPhone app which uses GPS to pinpoint a postcode for the user using the Loc8 system. The government has postponed any decision on an official postcode for Ireland for the time being, but the Loc8 system is already in use by some, and the point-8 app makes it work in a practical way. There’s a new release of the app promised next week.
Stories discussed this week include: Angel investment event in Belfast; France’s new state bank for SMEs; New ways to advertise jobs; and the world’s fastest clothes dryer!
The Small Business Show is syndicated weekly on Irish radio stations and podcast each Friday on focusmeireland.com. You can subscribe for free to download the MP3s automatically using RSS or iTunes.
