Irish Exports Set To Slow – Investec Report

Investment bank, Investec, has released a report which says that Irish exports are set to slow down.

It says that despite strong performances recently, the export environment will remain challenging as Eurozone economies continue to slow.

The slowdown will also be effected by the uncertainty within the U.S. economy.

Investec chief economist Philip Shaw said: “A lot of the other European economies are slowing down or contracting. There are question marks over the US as well…We think things are going to be more difficult looking forward.”
